Our favourite Sunday party returns this weekend, brining with it one of the hottest talents to impact on 2009. An extended stay in the UK has farmed out his talents throughout London, adding in Nottingham and Dublin for good measure. Now concluding his UK excursion, Arthouse’s intimate Sunday shindig will provide the perfect stage for Curtiss to unravel some choice dance floor dynamics in a specially extended set.

The Midwesterner, based in New York, will have four hours to splay his influences across the floor, lay things down and get a little dirty. Known for his edgy, sexual take on rocking a crowd, Arthouse’s discerning patrons will be looking to lap up whatever curve balls he decides to throw. His ability to span generations and genres in one set will be an exciting prospect to behold in a party that threatens to escape into the early hours of Monday morning.

The venue for the debauchery will again be Saki Bar, scene of one of the hottest parties to hit the North this summer, when Wolf + Lamb played into a seemingly endless night, jamming up the Disco, House and Techno. Curtiss will be a different proposition but the aesthetic of the W+L stable of artists will be the same, presenting full flavoured body music that leaves genre boundaries and prejudices at the door, without forgetting to bring a playful air of fun.

In support are mUmU’s Harrison and residents Will Park and Moid. Harrison has supported the likes of Tobi Neumann and Nick Curly recently and brings a wealth of experience to bear on the party to get the crowd oiled up in preparation for the carnage to come later in the night.
